Canadian Racing Legend Ron Fellows Back Behind the Wheel for Pit Stop Demos

TORONTO, June 23, 2016 /CNW/ - Canadian Tire Motorsport Park's Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix comes to downtown Toronto with RaceFest, to celebrate and showcase the excitement of Canada's biggest sports car race of the year.  This is a dynamic public and media event, with great on-site visuals, sounds and personalities.

RaceFest Highlights Include:

• Live Pit Stop demonstrations by the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship factory Corvette Racing team, with Canadian Hall of Famer and CTMP co-owner Ron Fellows back behind the wheel for this special event.
  
  
• Appearances and autograph sessions by defending race winners, brothers Jordan and Ricky Taylor, and some of Canada's top sports car racers, including Kyle Marcelli and hall-of-famer, Scott Maxwell.
  
  
• Race cars, including the defending race winning Prototype and current series-leader, the Konica Minolta Corvette of Wayne Taylor Racing.
  
  
• Displays and exhibits, including the Canadian Tire Pitstop Experience, where fans can try their hand at changing a tire against the clock.
