REGINA, SK, Sept. 7, 2023 /CNW/ - Once again the Regina Motorcycle Association Inc. and its members will be delivering toys to The Salvation Army for the organization's 2023 Christmas Program. The Association's members will be gathering with their toys at Toys R Us on North Albert before riding together to the Caledonian Curling Club, where Salvation Army volunteers will collect the toys for the December distribution.
Toys are already starting to be collected for The Salvation Army's 2023 Christmas Program. In 2021, nearly 6,000 children received toys as a result of the generosity of the community of Regina, and it is anticipated there will be a need for at least that many toys once again in 2023. In previous years the Regina Motorcycle Association Inc. Toy Run has averaged around $20,000 value in toys and $5,000 cash toward The Salvation Army's Christmas work.
The Salvation Army would once again like to say "thank you" to the Regina Motorcycle Association Inc. for their ongoing partnership to make the lives of children in Regina that much happier this Christmas.
