MONTRÉAL, Nov. 10, 2021 /CNW/ - From sunset until 8 p.m. this November 11, the Samuel De Champlain Bridge will be lit up in red.
"The Samuel De Champlain Bridge will be illuminated in red for Remembrance Day, reflecting the poppies on the lapels of Canadians across our country as we honour the individuals who served our nation with courage and determination. Spanning the bridge, itself a symbol of union and strength, this special illumination will glow our gratitude for those who fought for the freedom we enjoy this Remembrance Day and every day."
— The Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Infrastructure and Communities
Note: After 8 p.m., the architectural lighting will return to the blue-green illumination that is in use during the birds' migratory period.
