Media Advisory - Samuel De Champlain Bridge : Special illumination to pay tribute to the victims of COVID-19 Français
MONTREAL, March 11, 2021 /CNW/ - The Samuel De Champlain Bridge will light up in white tonight from sunset to 1:00 a.m. for the National Day of Observance for COVID-19 as the pandemic's first anniversary approaches.
"Tonight, the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge will shine in white to honor the memory of those who died from COVID-19 and to support all those who have also been affected by the pandemic. This bridge has become for many a symbol of strength and solidarity, and its special illumination tonight will once again express our gratitude to all the workers who have provided our essential care and services since the beginning of the pandemic. Let us continue to watch over each of us, our loved ones and our community. "
