As visitors enjoy a day of free admission to the Science Centre that has been loved by generations of children and families, OPSEU/SEFPO members will share information with them about why it should not be moved to Ontario Place:
- It's a world-class science centre, inspiring kids for decades
- The historic building was custom-built to do all production in-house by Science Centre staff
- There are hundreds of highly-skilled, good jobs at stake
- It's easily accessible by public transit and highways
- It's a neighbourhood anchor for Flemingdon Park and Thorncliffe Park
NOTE: An invitation has been sent to a range of Toronto mayoral candidates to join the rally and explain their position on this very important issue to our members and to the public.
