TORONTO, April 15, 2019 /CNW/ - The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business and Export Promotion, will be at Guru Studio in Toronto on Tuesday, April 16 to announce the first funding recipients of Creative Export Canada, a new funding program that aims to promote Canadian creative industries on the international stage. Minister Ng was present on behalf of the Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism.
Selected from more than 100 applicants, the 20 recipients represent some of the best and brightest in Canada's creative industries, from sectors such as music, video games, performing arts, visual art, design, interactive digital media and more.
Several recipients will be present to share and highlight how important financial support like this is in the international success of their projects.
