Media Advisory: Special Announcement on Downtown Yonge Street for Summer 2013

Celebrating Downtown Yonge Street

TORONTO, April 11, 2013 /CNW/ - The Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area would like to invite media to a special event on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. in front of Sears at the Toronto Eaton Centre (just south of Yonge and Dundas intersection).

Exciting new partners will join us at the event to make a special announcement about upcoming summer events in the Downtown Yonge neighbourhood. Photo and video opportunities will be available as will interviews with the BIA, our new partners and supporting area businesses.

In keeping with last year's four-week long Celebrate Yonge festival (www.celebrateyonge.com), the Downtown Yonge BIA is dedicated to creating and/or fostering vibrant and collaborative community experiences in and around our most iconic street. The Downtown Yonge BIA's mandate is to advocate for continued neighbourhood revitalization and growth on behalf of 2,000 businesses located around Yonge Street between Grosvenor/Alexander and Richmond streets.
