Media Advisory: Taking an important step toward fair workforce standards for Early Childhood Educators
TORONTO, April 25, 2024 /CNW/ - Join early childhood leaders, practitioners, researchers, and government representatives for "The Summer Institute on Early Childhood Development" where an urgently needed workforce standards action plan for the sector will be developed.
Hosted by the Atkinson Centre on Society and Child Development, a partnership of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) and George Brown College (GBC) is launching a strategic discussion on the challenges facing the Early Childhood Workforce across Canada.

Established in 2000, the Atkinson Centre for Society and Child Development strives to mobilize the best available evidence to strengthen the quality of early childhood practice and inform public policy and discourse. In partnership with George Brown College's School of Early Childhood, the Centre provides training in policy research to undergraduate and graduate students.
