Media advisory - The Alliance for downtown Montreal unveils its ambitious new illumination plan to light up the heart of the city

MONTREAL, June 2, 2022 /CNW/ - The SDC Montréal centre-ville is pleased to invite you to the launch of the Alliance for downtown Montreal on Monday, June 6th at 9:00 a.m.

The main pillars of the lighting and illumination strategy for the city center will be presented at this time, in the presence of Mr. Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy and Innovation and Minister responsible for Regional Economic Development and Mrs. Chantal Rouleau, Minister for Transport and Minister responsible for the Metropolis and the Montréal Region. During the event, a special edition of the City Center Report will also be unveiled.

This initiative is a result of the $3.5 million of financial support granted to the SDC Montréal centre-ville for downtown's recovery and revival efforts.
