Media Advisory: The Canadian Transportation Agency to issue its determination from the inquiry into the Air Transat tarmac delays Français
GATINEAU, QC, Nov. 29, 2017 /CNW/ - The Canadian Transportation Agency's (CTA) will issue its determination from the inquiry into the Air Transat tarmac delays on Thursday, November 30, 2017.
The determination will focus on the events surrounding the tarmac delays for Air Transat flights No. 157 from Brussels and No. 507 from Rome, at the Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport on July 31, 2017. These delays were the subject of an inquiry by the Canadian Transportation Agency including an oral hearing on August 30 and 31, 2017.
The determination will contain an in-depth examination and findings in relation to the two issues before the CTA:
- Did Air Transat properly apply its Tariff during these incidents; and
- Are Air Transat's applicable Tariff provisions reasonable.
