LENNOX ISLAND, PEI, June 26, 2024 /CNW/ - The Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, will join Chief Darlene Bernard, Lennox Island First Nation, and Chief Junior Gould, Abegweit First Nation, to make an important announcement about the proposed National Park Reserve in Pituamkek (Hog Island and the Sandhills).
The Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Member of Parliament for Cardigan, the Honourable Brian Francis, Senator, and Bobby Morrissey, Member of Parliament for Egmont, will also be present.
