During the technical briefing, reporters are encouraged to use a microphone (headphones/headset) when possible, and to avoid using speaker mode if queuing up for questions to help ensure optimal sound quality.
Following the technical briefing, the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, the Honourable Bill Blair, Minister of Emergency Preparedness, and the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Natural Resources, will hold a media availability. The Honourable George Heyman, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy for British Columbia, and Councillor Mike Klassen, Deputy Mayor of Vancouver, will join them. Chief Jen Thomas of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation, Chief Wayne Sparrow of the Musqueam Nation, as well as a representative from the Squamish Nation, will also be present.
