Media Advisory - The National Research Council of Canada to host symposium celebrating women shaping science across Government of Canada Français
OTTAWA, Feb. 7, 2020 /CNW/ - To mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) will host a symposium to recognize and celebrate women working in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields across the Government of Canada. The NRC will also reaffirm its commitment to an inclusive workplace by signing the Dimensions Charter for equity, diversity, and inclusion in Canada.
A scientific poster session will follow, with an opportunity to view and discuss results from projects led by women in research-based departments and agencies across the Government of Canada.
