AJAX, ON, Aug. 28, 2014 /CNW/ - The TORONTO 2015 Pan American/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee (TO2015), along with its government and corporate partners, will announce the completion of the President's Choice Ajax Pan Am Ballpark, on Friday, August 29.
PACHI, the TORONTO 2015 mascot, will step onto the pitcher's mound Friday to throw out the ceremonial first pitch with support from catcher Chris Robinson, member of the Guadalajara 2011 gold-medal-winning men's baseball team. Following the announcement, provincial clubs from across Ontario will take to the field for one of the 40-plus test events being hosted across the region in advance of the TORONTO 2015 Games.
