Media advisory: TSB deploys team to airplane accident near Thompson, MB

GATINEAU, May 13 /CNW Telbec/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has deployed a team to today's airplane accident near Thompson, MB. TSB Senior Air Investigator John Hannah is the Investigator-in-Charge and is leading the team. He is accompanied by two TSB investigators.

On May 13, 2010, at approximately 0930 local time, a Beech 55 Baron was involved in an accident.

The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
