Media Advisory: Uber Edmonton Celebrates One-Year of Operations

EDMONTON, Jan. 14, 2016 /CNW/ - Uber is celebrating the first anniversary of its uberX launch in Edmonton, just weeks away from a landmark Edmonton City Council vote that could pave the way to the first time a city in Canada adopts ridesharing regulations.

Ramit Kar, General Manager for Uber Alberta, will hold a media event on Thursday, January 14, to offer new facts and figures on a year of Uber's progress and positive impact in Edmonton  as well as a view on the future for ridesharing's exponential growth in the city.
