Media Advisory - Unifor members in Metro Vancouver to raise funds on Saturday for Highway of Tears charity
NEW WESTMINSTER, BC, June 16, 2023 /CNW/ - Unifor members across Canada have partnered with the Tears to Hope Society to participate in a fundraising relay for a new healing centre in Terrace, B.C.
"Unifor is committed to reconciliation and doing our part to work for truth, justice, and healing for the families of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirited peoples," said Lana Payne, Unifor National President.
What: Tears to Hope relay run-walk
Who: Members of Unifor Locals 111, 114, 3000, 2002, 2200
When: Saturday, June 17 at 9 a.m.
Where: The Gallery at Queen's Park in New Westminster (starting point of relay)
