TORONTO, June 29, 2016 /CNW/ - Canadian Tire Motorsport Park's Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix comes to downtown Toronto with RaceFest, to celebrate and showcase the excitement of Canada's biggest sports car race of the year.  This is a dynamic public and media event, with great on-site visuals, sounds and personalities.

RaceFest Highlights Include:

• Live Pit Stop demonstrations by the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship factory Corvette Racing GTLM team, with Canadian Hall of Famer and CTMP co-owner Ron Fellows back behind the wheel for this special event.
  
  
• Appearances and autograph sessions with defending overall race winners, brothers Jordan and Ricky Taylor, DeltaWing prototype driver Katherine Legge, and two of Canada's top sports car racers, Kyle Marcelli and hall-of-famer, Scott Maxwell.
  
  
• Race cars, including the defending race winning Prototype and current series-leader, the  Konica Minolta Corvette DP For Wayne Taylor Racing from the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the Toronto-based Compass 360 Racing Audi S3 from the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, a Mazda MX-5 race car from the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup, and a Nissan Micra from the Nissan Micra Cup.
  
  
• Race weekend ticket give-aways, displays and exhibits, including the Canadian Tire Pitstop Experience, where fans can try their hand at changing a tire against the clock.
