TORONTO, April 27, 2022 /CNW/ - Global humanitarian organization War Child Canada is set to host its star-studded gala evening The World That's Possible on December 5th, 2022 to raise funds in support of the millions of children and families impacted by war and violence in Afghanistan, Yemen, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, and Iraq.

On December 5th, War Child will host The World That's Possible, an exclusive evening at the Royal Ontario Museum, to celebrate humanity's vast potential, stir the imagination, and inspire us to create the world that's possible.
This unforgettable night will feature gourmet cuisine inspired by the regions where War Child works and prepared by Chef Mark McEwan and Chef Shen Ousmand, along with world-class entertainment, storytelling, a live and silent auction, and philanthropy. Funds raised will provide conflict-affected children and families with essential programs that give them the chance to escape cycles of violence and poverty and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

Honorary Gala Chairs include War Child Ambassadors Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski, with Sylvia Mantella and Wes Hall.
Gourmet international cuisine prepared by Chef Mark McEwan of The McEwan Group and Head Judge of Top Chef Canada, along with Chef Shen Ousmand, Executive Chef of Aga Khan Museum.
War Child's inaugural awards will include a Philanthropy Award to be presented to Gary and Donna Slaight of The Slaight Family Foundation, and a Changemaker Award to be presented to Mohamad Fakih of Paramount Fine Foods. Additional awards will be announced shortly.
