Fraud Prevention Month 2019 to launch at the Maison du développement durable in Montreal
OTTAWA, Feb.21, 2019 /CNW/ - The Competition Bureau will join Option consommateurs, the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and the Canada Revenue Agency to launch the 15th edition of Fraud Prevention Month. The event will feature a panel discussion on the evolution of common frauds over the past 15 years and will be streamed live on Option consommateurs' Facebook page.
Fraud Prevention Month is an annual awareness campaign that empowers Canadians with the information they need to recognize, reject and report fraud.
