GATINEAU, QC, Jan. 30, 2025 /CNW/ - Canadian Heritage would like to inform the public of the street closures in effect in Gatineau during the 47th Winterlude, which takes place from January 31 1 to February 17, 2025. There will be no street closures in Ottawa.
Please note that all details are subject to change. All times are local.
Gatineau
Road closures
Saturdays (February 1, 8, 15), Sundays (February 2, 9, 16), and Mondays (February 10, 17):
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Affected streets:
- Laurier Street (between Sacré-Cœur Boulevard and Dussault Street)
- Dussault Street
- Access ramp from Fournier Boulevard to Dussault Street
- Notre-Dame-de-l'Île Street (between Sacré-Cœur Boulevard and Marston Street)
- Champlain Street (between Sacré-Cœur Boulevard and Marston Street)
- Marston Street
Exceptions: Emergency and service vehicles, organization permit holders, local residents, area workers and buses (STO and OC Transpo).
Fridays (February 7 and 14):
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Affected streets:
- Laurier Street (between Sacré-Cœur Boulevard and Dussault Street)
- Dussault Street
- Access ramp from Fournier Boulevard to Dussault Street
Exceptions: Emergency and service vehicles, organization permit holders, local residents, area workers and buses (STO and OC Transpo).

- west/odd side (between Dussault Street and Champlain Street) – except zone 26 permit holders
- east/even side (between Marston Street and Sacré-Cœur Boulevard)

- Champlain Street: east/even side (between Marston Street and Sacré-Cœur Boulevard)
- Sacré-Cœur Boulevard: north/odd side (between Laurier Street and Notre-Dame-de-l'Île Street)
