Media Advisory - Winterlude street closures in Gatineau and media registration for vehicle passes Français
Canadian Heritage is sharing details of street closures in Gatineau during Winterlude, from February 2 to February 19. Media require vehicle passes to access closed streets during this time.
GATINEAU, QC, Jan. 30, 2024 /CNW/ - Canadian Heritage would like to share the details of the street closures in effect in Gatineau during the 46th Winterlude, from February 2 to February 19, 2024.
Only vehicles displaying an access pass, residents with proof of residence, and emergency vehicles will be allowed on closed streets.
Please note that all details are subject to change. All times are local.
Laurier Street, from Sacré-Coeur Boulevard to Dussault Street
Dussault Street, from Laurier Street to Fournier Boulevard
Marston Street, from Laurier Street to Notre-Dame-de-L'Île Street
Champlain Street and Notre-Dame-de-L'Île Street — Local traffic only
- Thursdays and Fridays, February 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays, February 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Mondays, February 5 and 19 (Family Day in Ontario), from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Media vehicle access passes
Passes are required for vehicles to access closed streets during Winterlude. Please note that passes are for access to closed streets only and do not allow for parking at Winterlude sites.
To request a media access pass, email [email protected] before 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 1 with the following information:
- Driver's name
- Driver's cell phone number
- Type of vehicle
- Licence plate number
Media access passes will be available for pickup upon appointment.
