Canada Company join forces to host unique fundraiser for families of fallen
soldiers
TORONTO, Sept. 9 /CNW/ - Canada Company, a charitable business group, will kick off the start of a unique seven day run and bike marathon challenge on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 9:40 a.m. at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
The North American Van Lines Tour de Force will raise money to support the families of fallen soldiers by providing funding for programs such as Camps for Kids of Deployed Soldiers and the Canada Company Scholarship Fund.
The Tour de Force will be divided into seven 85 km stages, concluding with a community celebration. Riders, including 90-year-old Belleville resident Norm Russell, will travel through locations in Ontario (Toronto, Oshawa, Newcastle, Trenton, Kingston, Brockville and Cornwall) and Quebec (Hudson and Montreal).
