CALGARY, May 31, 2017 /CNW/ - On June 2, Canada's National Ballet School (NBS) will kick off its celebration for Canada's 150^th with a nationwide dance party from 4 to 6:00 p.m. at the Eau Claire Market. NBS' Sharing Dance Day events will bring communities together and empower them to enjoy the physical, social, emotional and cultural benefits of dance for all Canadians. The events will include professional dance performances, open free dance classes, activity booths, music, and engaging activities for all ages.

Performances: Performances of the '2017 Choreography' - representing distinct styles of dance, cultural backgrounds and geographic locations, Performance have been taught by NBS choreographers to the general public - children and youth of all ages, seniors and everyone in between - across Canada since January 2017.
