HALIFAX, April 29, 2013 /CNW/ - On Thursday, May 2, The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame will be hosting its annual induction ceremony, honoring laureates whose medical accomplishments have contributed significantly to the advancement of health care and health research in Canada and around the world.

This year will mark Canada's 100^th laureate to be inducted into the Medical Hall of Fame.
