TORONTO, May 9, 2014 /CNW/ - Join the Children's Aid Foundation's #5/14 conversation on May 14 in support of Ontario's Children and Youth in Care Day and help raise awareness of the strength, bravery and resilience of kids and young people living under the care of the province's child welfare system.
On May 14, starting at noon until 5 pm, the Children's Aid Foundation will share personal and inspirational messages and videos with the hashtag #5/14 via Twitter @cafdn.org and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/cafdn every 14 minutes from young people who have grown up in care. In return, the Foundation is asking followers to join the conversation, share social media messages with 5 new friends for each posting and to make an online donation of $14.00 at www.cafdn.org/514 .
Every dollar raised by the Children's Aid Foundation from #5/14 will help improve the lives of Ontario's abused and neglected children and young adults currently or formerly living in the care of the child welfare system.
