TORONTO, Aug. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - On Monday, August 19, Toronto Pearson will be transformed into a wildly wacky stage of talent as dinosaurs, acrobats and magicians perform to kick-off this year's Scotiabank BuskerFest. This signature local event is North America's largest busker festival featuring some of the very best in international street performances.
Airport and media guests are invited to experience the fun as unexpected performances take over Terminal 1 Domestic Arrivals and Departures. Guests will enjoy a number of acts including an interactive break dance performance by Cirque Du Soleil performer, Julio "Kown" Santiago and entertainment from flexible comedian, Jonathan Burns. In addition, circus acts, musical performances and magic shows will line the halls.
Scotiabank BuskerFest, now in its 14th year, supports Epilepsy Toronto. Beginning on August 19, Toronto Pearson will donate $1 up to $5,000 to Epilepsy Toronto for every Twitter post using the hashtag #PearsonBuskerFest.
