Media Advisory/Photo and Interview Opportunities/News Conference - Police recover large cache of firearms, accessories and ammunition at a residence

ORILLIA, ON, March 11, 2013 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join members of the OPP-led Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit (PWEU) in partnership with Durham Regional Police Service and OPP East Region Uniform and Crime Units at a news conference tomorrow to hear the results of an investigation that resulted in a significant number of restricted and banned weapons and accessories being seized from a residence in Eastern Ontario.

One-on-one interviews will be available following the media conference.  A number of the firearms and accessories seized will be on display.

Digital stills and background information will be made available for media agencies unable to attend once the media conference begins.
