Media Advisory/Photo Op - Come throw the first pitch at SPORT, an Exhibition at the Ontario Science Centre
TORONTO, June 14, 2012 /CNW/ - On your Marks, Get Set, Go! This summer, as the world cheers on their nations' athletes, the Ontario Science Centre is bringing back one of its iconic fan-favourite exhibitions - SPORT - for a limited time.
Time your fastball at the Baseball Pitch, an exhibit which allows guests to try their hand at pitching the regulation 60 feet 6 inches, or race a cheetah in the 10-metre dash. Twelve interactive exhibits allow visitors to learn about active living and the human body through sport.
Developed by the Ontario Science Centre, SPORT has toured science centres around the world. The exhibition opens to the public June 25th, 2012 and runs until January 6, 2013.
