Media Advisory/Photo Op - Discover what happens to your body in space at the Ontario Science Centre with former CSA astronaut Dr. Dave Williams
TORONTO, Nov. 15, 2016 /CNW/ - How do you go to the toilet in space? What happens when you sweat? What does food taste like? On November 19, former CSA astronaut Dr. Dave Williams will be at the Ontario Science Centre to answer these questions – and others – about the effect of zero gravity on the human body, drawing from his own experience in space.
Dr. Dave will give two informative, interactive and humorous presentations about what happens to the human body in space. Dr. Dave's new children's book To Burp or Not to Burp: A Guide to Your Body in Space will be available for purchase onsite, and Dr. Dave will sign books following the presentations. Don't miss your chance to find out whether you can burp in space from someone who's been there!
