TORONTO, July 12, 2012 /CNW/ - WHAT: Seven lucky winners from the Toronto area will each be presented with a cheque for $200,000 today at the Heart and Stroke Foundation's offices by COO, Tom McAllister. This year the Heart and Stroke Foundation launched the all new Heart&Stroke Ultimate 25's Lottery with opportunities to win 25 Grand Prizes of $200,000, 25 Cars, 25 Trips and lots more for only $25 per ticket.

WHO: Seven lucky winners, all from Toronto will receive their cheques and be available to speak to the media. They are:
William Lawler, 84, who has been a supporter of the Foundation for many years and upon hearing the news of his big win said, "Is what you're saying gospel?!"
D. Thomas, 38, who has a very personal connection to the Foundation and told us, "My mom passed away from heart disease and that inspired me to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation by buying lottery tickets."
The other winners are Larry Cuthbertson, 80, David Sternberg, Jane Macnaughton who retired in December, Bryan Boyachuk and Manuel Borges. Each has a story to tell of the thrilling moment they heard the good news.
