Library's Month-Long City-Wide Literary Festival Kicks Off with "viral" book sharing campaign

TORONTO, March 2 /CNW/ - Toronto Public Library kicks off its fifth annual literary festival Keep Toronto Reading 2010 on Friday March 5 at 10am with a unique book-sharing campaign designed to encourage Torontonians to share the books they love. As part of the launch of the festival, the library will release 99 specially created journals from its branches to roam the city for the month of April. Join Mayor David Miller and Toronto Public Library City Librarian Jane Pyper for the launch of the campaign, and a preview of the over 80 free programs and events planned for the month of April. The event will also launch this year's One Book community read, and the Mayor will officially designate April as Keep Toronto Reading Month.
