Media Advisory/Photo Op: Food banks, farmers, and Direct Energy join forces
to reduce hunger

MARKHAM, ON, Oct. 2 /CNW/ - The Ontario Association of Food Banks (OAFB), Direct Energy and Whittamore's Farm will be holding a large scale gleaning event to raise thousands of pounds of fresh food for local food banks. The event will feature 100 Direct Energy volunteers picking fresh corn, tomatoes, and green beans in order to ensure that area families have fresh, local foods this Thanksgiving weekend.
