Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity - Canadian Premiere: The UNICEF Experience
TORONTO, Oct. 22, 2013 /CNW/ - Tomorrow, Wednesday October 23, 2013, UNICEF Canada will hold its first ever UNICEF Experience event, bringing its work to save children' s lives closer to home.
"UNICEF Experience" includes the exclusive screening of Cold Chain Mission, a BBC documentary featuring UNICEF UK Ambassador Ewan McGregor, followed by the opportunity to experience firsthand the life-changing work of UNICEF in countries around the world. At the event, guests will participate in some of the daily work of UNICEF through hands-on interactive displays including vaccinating a child against polio, and pumping and carrying water like millions of girls around the world.

WHAT: An unforgettable and interactive event to raise funds and awareness to save the lives of children around the world by providing an hands-on experience of some of the critical areas of child survival where UNICEF field workers are active including immunization, emergencies and child protection.
