The 31st Calgary Scout Group celebrates Scout – Guide Week on February 25th with a Scouts Expo, followed by the 31st Scout Group's annual Baden-Powell Banquet, after which the Chief Scout will be making Honours and Awards Presentations to youth members and adult volunteers. |
Actor, author, back-country survival trainer, outdoorsman and star of TV's "The Mantracker" from 2006 to 2011, Terry Grant also serves as Chief Scout for Scouts Canada. Terry has held this volunteer appointment since April 2013, representing Canada's leading non-profit co-ed youth organization. The evening's Program has been entirely organized by the 31st Scout Group's Venturer Scouts — young women and men ages 15 to 17. |

2017 marks the 65th Anniversary Year of Calgary's 31st Scout Group. It is also the 105th Anniversary Year for the 31st's Scout Hall in the Northwest Calgary community of Capitol Hill. |
