e-health technology to help Canadians manage their health

TORONTO, Nov. 18 /CNW/ - On Monday, November 22, TELUS unveils TELUS health space, a secure, web-based service to help empower Canadians to better manage their health information through the power of e-health technology. Sunnybrook Health Sciences CIO Sam Marafioti will attend to announce how Sunnybrook will integrate TELUS health space with their e-health platform.

Currently, 2,000 TELUS team members across Canada, including over 400 in Ontario, are the first to use the new service which will soon be available to millions of Canadians.

Soon, Canadian parents will be able to create, store and manage their family's health information, across all of today's technology platforms - from the TV, to the PC to mobile devices - and securely share it with their health care providers.
