New facility to leave legacy for communities and high-performance sport
TORONTO, Sept. 16, 2015 /CNW/ - The TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015) is handing over the CIBC Pan Am/Parapan Am Athletics Stadium to York University.
A ceremonial key will be handed over from Saad Rafi, chief executive officer, TO2015, to Mamdouh Shoukri, president and vice-chancellor, York University. Legacy users of these venues, including Canadian track stars and TORONTO 2015 Pan Am medalists Khamica Bingham and Nikkita Holder, and university students will be in attendance.
