WHAT: | Spring Drive Public Food Sorts |
A spring tradition for many families and community groups, over five hundred people will volunteer their time to sort and pack food donations from Daily Bread's Spring Drive. On Saturday, April 19, Canadian Olympians will be celebrating the Olympic spirit by volunteering their time to give back to the community. | |
The Spring Drive ends on April 26 with goals of 225,000 dollars and 225,000 pounds of food. As of April 18, the Spring Drive has raised $152,000 and 150,000 pounds of food. | |
Note: Daily Bread is fully booked for public sorting. No volunteers are required. | |
