Association Host British Columbia's First Electronic Toy Recycling Event
VANCOUVER, Oct 1 /CNW/ - On October 2, Waste Management of Canada and the Canadian Toy Association invite you to join British Columbia consumers as they bring their used, unwanted or damaged electronic toys to B.C.'s first electronic toy recycling drive. The event will showcase innovative technology from GreenOps, as Waste Management unveils the first Canadian location for the interactive recycling machine, which allows consumers to earn rewards for recycling and resource-conscious companies to better understand the lifecycle of their products.
Members of the Canadian Toy Association will be onsite drawing prizes for children who return their electronic toys for recycling. This initiative not only provides B.C. residents a way to conveniently and responsibly dispose of their end-of-life electronics, but it aims to meet B.C.'s Recycling Regulation.
