What: On September 29th, over 50 directors of museums and art galleries from across Canada will be attending meetings with members of Parliament and senators on Parliament Hill. Canadian Museums Day recognizes the enormous contributions that museums make to our communities and to the economy. Who: Hosted by the Honourable Noël A. Kinsella, Speaker of the Senate; John McAvity, executive director (Canadian Museums Association); Robert Labossière, executive director (Canadian Art Museums Directors' Organization); Members of Parliament, cabinet ministers, senators; Directors of museums and art galleries from across Canada.
