Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity: Eve Adams, Parliamentary Secretary to Federal Health Minister Rona Ambrose to Recognize Innovation in Public Health

OTTAWA, Nov. 28, 2014 /CNW/ - Eve Adams, Parliamentary Secretary to The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health, will present awards to the recipients of the Infoway Public Health Social Media Challenge, which encouraged the use of social media in public health. 

Ms. Adams will be joined by Ms. Rathika Sitsabaiesan, MP, Scarborough Rouge-River, Mr. Bruce Stanton, MP, Simcoe North, and Mr. Glenn Thibeault, MP, Sudbury, along with Graham Scott, Board Chair, Canada Health Infoway, and Michael Green, President and CEO, Canada Health Infoway.  

Representatives from the following organizations will be on hand to accept their awards:  

• Canadian Blood Services
• Parachute
• Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit
• Sudbury District Health Unit
• Toronto Public Health
