TORONTO, May 8, 2012 /CNW/ - Upper Canada College's Believe in Blue Gala at the Royal Ontario Museum sold out quickly, but members of the public still have a chance to bid online for four one-of-a-kind items that will be auctioned off in support of areas of great importance to the school and its students:

Proceeds from the online auction will go towards needs-based scholarships at UCC. In the 2012-13 school year, 11 per cent of UCC students will receive financial assistance. The goal is to have 20 per cent of the student body (220 boys) receiving needs-based scholarships within the next few years. Proceeds will also support upgrades to the school's science wing, and boarding facilities and programs.
