TORONTO, June 20, 2013 /CNW/ - Summer is here and Camp TELETOON is kicking off a whole new season of hit programming and online activities. From Monday, July 2 to Friday, August 30, kids can start every weekday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET/PT with huge laughs by checking out a programming lineup jam-packed with the new TELETOON original series Camp Lakebottom and hit shows like Lego Ninjago, Dreamworks Dragons: Riders of Berk, Rocket Monkeys, Johnny Test and The Looney Tunes Show. As an added bonus, Camp TELETOON will feature a different blockbuster movie every Friday at 10 a.m. ET/PT.

The Camp TELETOON experience extends online with the launch of Paddlepalooza, a brand new game on teletoon.com. Developed in-house by the TELETOON Interactive team, Paddlepalooza is a breakneck race across Canada … by canoe. Kids can enter and play each day to move further down the watery cross-country path. In addition, by watching Camp Teletoon episodes viewers can take note of special daily code words that unlock power-ups and help propel their canoes ahead of the competition. Players can also enter into draws for weekly prizes and the grand prize of a white-water rafting family camping trip.

In celebration of Camp TELETOON, TELETOON Canada has partnered with YMCA and ACQ (Association des camps de Québec) camps across the country to offer campers a "real-life" Paddlepalooza experience. Approximately 36,000 Canadian campers will receive TELETOON goodies like T-shirts, posters and sticker sheets to motivate them as they complete their own canoe-inspired Paddlepalooza challenge.
