Media Alert - CMA Calgary Town Hall - Looks at factors behind poor health
OTTAWA, April 18, 2013 /CNW/ - The Canadian Medical Association (CMA) will host a town hall in Calgary on April 23 as part of its National Dialogue on Health Care Transformation.
Launched earlier this year in Winnipeg, the Dialogue consists of a series of five public town halls across Canada focusing on the social factors that cause poor health - what are referred to as the social determinants of health.
