OTTAWA, Aug. 19, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - More than 250 physician delegates have gathered here to attend the CMA's 147th annual meeting of General Council taking place Aug. 17-20 at the Ottawa Convention Centre.
An address by the Hon. Thomas J. Mulcair, delegates' motions and the incoming president's inaugural address are among the highlights of the last day of deliberations. The installation ceremony and the CMA's award ceremony will be held in the evening at the Westin Ottawa. This year, the CMA is recognizing 11 exceptional individuals, including dedicated physicians, talented medical students and outstanding health advocates.
