Media Alert - End-of-life care issues in Canada Discussed at Day Two of CMA's 147th Annual Meeting in Ottawa

OTTAWA, Aug. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - The Canadian Medical Association's (CMA) 147th annual meeting continues with a focus on how to ensure quality of end-of-life care for Canadians now and in the future. CMA President Dr. Louis Hugo Francescutti will also deliver his valedictory address to delegates. Former Québec premier Jean Charest will speak at the Election 2015: CMA election readiness political session. The CMA will be presented with the Canadian Forces Medallion for Distinguished Service. The medal is the highest recognition the Canadian Armed Forces can afford to an individual or agency.
