*MEDIA ALERT** - Lisa Landry of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario is The Protector of
the Caramilk* Secret!
Caramilk* golden key-finder unlocks the Caramilk* Vault
TORONTO, Sept. 23 /CNW/ - For more than 40 years, Caramilk* has vigorously guarded the mystery of how they get the soft, flowing caramel into the Caramilk* bar… until now. At a dramatic ceremony held in Toronto at Cadbury's Gladstone chocolate factory, Lisa Landry from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario inserted her golden key into the Caramilk* Vault. When the vault clicked open, an explosion of confetti confirmed that Lisa Landry was the first-ever Protector of The Caramilk* Secret!
Lisa Landry now has the responsibility to protect the Caramilk* Secret for six months and ensure that Canada's beloved secret remains a secret. If she safely returns the secret in six months, unopened and untouched, she will win up to $250,000.
The Search for the Protector of the Caramilk* Secret… Now Over!
This summer, Caramilk* asked consumers if they'd be willing to keep a secret — the Caramilk* Secret — for a quarter of a million dollars. Caramilk* randomly hid ten golden keys in Caramilk* bars that were distributed across the country. Only one golden key would unlock the Caramilk* Vault and one Canadian would be named The Protector of the Caramilk* Secret.
The Protector of the Caramilk* Secret, receives $125,000 immediately and another $125,000 will be awarded when the Caramilk* Secret is safely returned in six months.
Lisa Landry's Caramilk* bar was purchased at a Metro.
Throughout the search for the Protector of the Caramilk* Secret, eight keys were found across the country and two keys were awarded through a random online draw on www.facebook.com/caramilk.
Lucky key-finders include: Patrick Yeager from St. Brieux, Saskatchewan; Justin Nelson from Edmonton, Alberta; Anne MacEwen from Morell, PEI; Alan Coulter from Pickering, Ontario; Jennifer Korchak from Sylvan Lake, Alberta; Lisa Landry from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; Thomas O'Brien from Marmora, Ontario, Steve Godbout from Saint-Lambert-De Lauzon, Quebec, Jacqueline Hardy from Yellowknife, NT and Aaron Drabitt from Sooke, BC.
