What: On February 1, 2010, Bill 118 - the Countering Distracted Driving Act, will be enforced in Ontario, prohibiting the use of hand-held wireless communication or electronic entertainment devices while driving. Drivers who would have previously received a warning from police are now subject to a fine if they are caught using a hand-held device.
