Rouge Park launches Fall Biodiversity Walks with Ontario Power Generation
and "Honourary Walk Leaders" - Saturday, October 23 (revised date)

TORONTO, Oct. 13 /CNW/ - Rouge Park kicks off its new Fall Biodiversity Walks - a series of themed walks with trained guides - in partnership with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) on Saturday, October 23.  Join "Honourary Walk Leaders" - special guests, community leaders and friends - as they launch the walks and reveal what they know and love about Rouge Park.

WHAT: ROUGE PARK'S FALL BIODIVERSITY WALKS IN PARNTERSHIP WITH OPG BIODIVERSITY 2010 PROGRAM - LAUNCH EVENT.

WHEN: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23 - 9 a.m. NOTE: This is a revised date.
Remarks: 9:15 a.m.
Official Walk Launch with Special Guests: 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: 1749 Meadowvale Road, Toronto (opposite the Toronto Zoo). Follow signs for Rouge Valley Conservation Centre.

Driving Directions: From Highway 401: Exit Meadowvale Road northbound.  Continue north past Sheppard Ave. E. Take the ramp leading to the Toronto Zoo, merging right to an open parking area. 

Public Transit: Bus 85 or 86 via Toronto Zoo. Get off at the stop before the Zoo and walk east toward the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre.

Family Friendly? Yes - energetic kids and wee ones in carriers welcome.

Dog Friendly? Yes - on leads.
