MEDIA ALERT - RE/MAX franchises to hold Yard Sales for the Cure across Ontario-Atlantic Canada on May 25th in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
TORONTO, May 23, 2013 /CNW/ -As the presenting sponsor once again in 2013, RE/MAX is proud to announce that its franchise offices throughout Ontario and Atlantic Canada will be participating in the 9th Annual Yard Sale for the Cure event on Saturday, May 25th in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
The goal of the fundraiser, taking place in communities nationwide, is to help fund advancements in vital research that aim to improve prevention, detection, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. The public is encouraged to come out and shop in support of a cure. The media is invited to attend events in their local area.
Since 2004, the men and women of RE/MAX have donated over $3 million to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, primarily through the exclusive RE/MAX Sold on a Cure Program, Yard Sale for the Cure and Run for the Cure.
